As anyone in senior living knows, the culinary experiences of patients and residents are as important as the quality of their healthcare. Term’s like “farm-to-table ingredients” and “scratch cooking” aren't often heard around the kitchens of skilled nursing facilities—but they are commonplace throughout the CareOne community. The company wanted to share their exciting culinary initiatives with patients, families and industry professionals so we helped them serve up some beautiful marketing pieces to showcase what’s cooking at CareOne.

Perfectly Pureed Marketing

Recognizing that residents who were on strict puree diets were losing weight, CareOne launched its innovative "Perfectly Pureed" program, where pureed foods—from lasagna to pork chops—are created to look like their solid counterparts. The result: creations that are a feast for the eyes, as well as the taste buds.


In collaboration with CareOne's professional chefs, we art directed a photoshoot to capture the appeal of their pureed offerings and presented them in a marketing piece that rivals the pages of a high-end culinary magazine.

Culinary Marketing

CareOne believes in making dining experiences both healthy and enjoyable. In an effort to spread that joy, they tasked us with designing several recipe booklets “From the Kitchens of CareOne” that they distributed to company employees and industry colleagues to inspire a love for great food.

Infused Water Signage

To promote wellness and encourage proper hydration, CareOne chefs create a different infused water each month and educate residents about the healing properties of the ingredients. Working alongside their culinary team, we art directed a photoshoot that resulted in a year’s worth of thirst-quenching infused water signage that was distributed to all CareOne buildings throughout New Jersey, Massachusetts, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Maryland.

Recipe Cards and Social Media

CareOne’s culinary team regularly offers plant-based alternatives to traditional meat entrees and wanted to lead residents and industry colleagues in monthly live cooking demonstrations to encourage their exploration of new dining options. We developed a library of recipe cards that were distributed along with a bag of fresh ingredients so that participants could cook dishes at home while CareOne chefs prepared meals virtually via Zoom. All cooking events were announced and promoted on social media.

Digital Recruitment Campaign

When the CareOne culinary team sought our expertise to develop an ad campaign to attract new talent, our mission was to create ads that were high energy, exciting and memorable. They wanted us to create messaging that would instantly appeal to the creativity and fun that chefs love bringing to their work. We developed a series of ads with images that might be considered “out of the box” for senior living but they were highly engaging and effective in grabbing the attention of new recruits online and at in-person recruiting events.
